Reliant Transport: A NEMTAC Accredited Transportation Company
In 2026, Reliant Transportation became the first company in the state of North Carolina to receive accreditation from NEMTAC® (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission). NEMTAC® Accreditation is a third-party evaluation against nationally recognized operational, safety, governance, and compliance standards. It verifies that policies are implemented, accountability structures are in place, and services are delivered within defined levels of care.

Reliant has two Certified Trainers on staff. Trainers ride with each driver at least once per quarter and provide a written assessment. All vehicles have cameras that face both frontwards and backwards and record all activity. The cameras we use also have telematics that send alerts of any unusual activity, such as sudden stops, turns, exceeding speed, etc.
Reliant has a Corporate Compliance Committee that investigates all complaints and incidents. The role of the Committee is to determine fault and recommend appropriate disciplinary or education action as appropriate.
Reliant utilizes state of the art Al driven dispatch software, Bambi. The software provides a HIPAA compliant portal for each facility to input trips ensuring accurate data. Once the trip is assigned to a Driver, the facility can utilize the map function to see where the driver is and when they will arrive. This saves many unnecessary phone calls and keeps the facility up to date providing complete transparency to the transportation process.
